The death of Tyrone Power on November 15, 1958 (he suffered a heart attack on Madrid Solomon and Sheba shocked millions of fans and friends. Incredibly handsome, talented, gentlemanly and kind, he was, perhaps more than any other actor, the symbol of Hollywood glamour. Yet our loss is as nothing when compared to that of the six women who have lived with him and loved him. to that of his beloved mom, whom he visited regularly when he was in Hollywood--and made sure got the best of care. To that of ex-wives Linda and Annabella, who have never remarried and who, it is said, received alimony that totaled $3,000 a week. To that of pretty Debbie Minardos, who wanted only to be a good wife to Ty and never leave his side. And what about the children's loss? The two little girls who looked forward to their daddy's letters, who have received their last Christmas gifts from him (beautiful dresses he purchased in Madrid just before he died). Nothing can ease the pain of these six women who mourn Ty most. Because, as Annabella put it, for them, "The most wonderful man in the world is gone."
